Biography

A hard-working central midfield player who has a tremendous long throw in his armoury. He returned to Stourbridge for a fourth stint in the summer of 2019, having left to join Alvechurch earlier in the year. He joined Halesowen in March 2013 after previously playing for Brocton and Tipton Town and he enjoyed two excellent full seasons at the Grove. Tom originally joined us in June 2015 but moved on to AFC Telford in December 2015 before returning in March 2016. In the summer of 2017, he signed for Solihull Moors, but getting limited game-time at Moors, he opted to return to the Stourbridge fold in September 2017. He missed the first half of last season after undergoing ankle surgery but returned to the side in early December before getting a few games under his belt on dual registration with Walsall Wood. Once back with the Glassboys he grew frustrated with his limited opportunities amid stiff competition for places and he opted for a move to Alvechurch in February 2019. He played his part in their fine end of season run before heading back to Stourbridge in June 2019 in the wake of Ian Long’s appointment.
