Exchange came into this game knowing that with Ace challenging for the Premier league title they were going to throw everything they had at us.
We had a game plan first half and stuck to it well, taking the lead twice only to be pegged back on both occasions.

Paddy Hardcastle headed Exchange infront after getting on the end of a David Ross free kick after 15 minutes.

Ace levelled things up when a back post header was knocked across goal from a corner and one of their defenders was on hand to tuck the ball in from 10 yards.

Undeterred, Exchange again went on to take the lead. Paddy Hardcaste battled well to get on the end of a David Ross through ball and he did really well to find the bottom corner from outside of the box.

Ace hit back before half time, catching us cold with a quickly taken free kick and their winger cut inside and his effort went through two sets of legs before nestling in the bottom corner, Macleod in goals helpless after being unsighted.

The pressure Ace put us under first half took its toll on our fitness levels and they seemed to step up a level second half.

David Ross gave away a penalty after a tackle on the edge of the box was adjudged to be a foul and it was converted well.

Shortly after Scott Morrison scored the goal of the game, cutting in from the left and sending an unstoppable strike past Macleod to make it 4-2.

Garry Macleod pulled off some superb saves to keep the score down as Ace continued to exploit the gaps left by weary legs.

Exchange did have a chance to pull one back at this stage but Andrew Cooks effort went agonisingly over the bar after being forced wide by the keeper.

A further penalty and two more strike before the end put the game to bed for Ace and we wish them all the best as they chase the league title.
