Netherton under 12's Eagles have won the PPG Cup today at the Stafflex Arena at Storthes Hall. The team battled against a number of other local sides and the elements to get through to the final and finish as champions. It was nearly an all Netherton final as the U12's Hawks side lost their semi-final on penalties.

The Under 10's fielded three sides at the tournament. The Falcons played very well and narrowly lost on penalties in the semi-final, losing to eventual winners Shelley A. The Eagles had a number of good wins including a close 1-0 victory over the Hawks. They narrowly missed out on the semi finals after finishing fifth in their group. The Hawks had a more difficult day but closed the day out with a 3-0 win and a 1-1 draw.

The under 11's missed out on the finals but managed a good 2-0 win over Holmfirth in the group games.

All the children enjoyed the day despite the weather. Thanks go to the organisers HTAFC and hosts Shelley FC for a great day.
