The Phoenix's were slow to start but soon settled and it was Emily Johnson who fired them ahead after turning in on her defender and firing past the POSH Keeper. Yas Green followed with her first of the afternoon after a defence splitting pass from Captain Megan Stickland put her through to slot past the keeper. 2-0 Yas added another following another defence splitting pass this time from fellow striker Emily - 3-0 at half time. The Netherton Ladies continued to press in the second half and after 47 mins Emily got her second and the teams 4th. 4-0 Yas added two more in the 62nd and 70th minutes to make the score line 6-0 with the Ladies totally dominating a disheartened POSH side. Emily capped the Ladies scoring for the day with a 75th minute goal taking her total for the day to 3 and the score to 7-0. Some last minute lapse of concentration saw a corner poorly defended and POSH grab a 91st minute cancellation goal 7-1.
