After three weeks off because of bad weather, Nettleham will face Solihull Moors on Sunday at Mulsanne Park.
Last time the teams met, the Netts took the three points with a 2-1 victory. Moors took the lead in the first half but 48th and 54th minute goals from Ella Thompson-Moulding and Daisy Marsh secured Nettleham the win.
In recent weeks, Solihull faced 6-2 and 11-0 defeats against Sporting Khalsa and West Bromwich respectively.
Nettleham have faced both teams twice this season. They suffered a 3-2 defeat to Khalsa at Mulsanne Park but won 3-2 when facing them away. When hosting the National League Plate game, West Brom won 5-0. In the league, West Brom beat the Netts 2-1 at Mulsanne Park in a game that ended with a controversial goal from the visitors.
Solihull sit 10th in the league, three places and 18 points behind Nettleham. So far this season, away from home Moors have scored seven goals and conceded 35. At home, the Netts have scored 16 and conceded 17.
It could be assumed that Nettleham will take another three points from Sunday’s visitors but it could go either way.
