Today we welcomed Magdala amateurs to Lowfields for the 1st home game of the season hoping to build on the previous weeks win away at Basford.
with only one change to starting line up Sol Miller came into replace Barnes who is still returning to full fitness following a serious Knee injury last season.
Flowserve started like a rocket from the first whistle and we were in front after 6 minutes with an excellent run and finish from sol after a superb clipped through ball delivered from price.
Shortly after the game restarted a member of the visiting side sustained a serious leg injury , it was an unfortunate injury where his foot seems to get stuck in the ground, no free kick was awarded for the challenge by the referee.
An ambulance was called with the player not able to move and in some pain and discomfort , fortunately on this occasion the ambulance arrived quickly and was able tend to the injured player.
The game was abandoned during the wait for the emergency services with the visiting side not wishing to fulfill today's fixture.
we wish the injured player from Magdala the best and a speedy and full recovery.
