John's funeral will be on Friday 15th November at 1430 hrs. at Ash Church. If you would like to we can all meet at the Anchor and Hope at 1300 hrs. After the burial there will be a celebration of John's life at New Ash Green Rugby Club.

The dress for ex-military will be beret and medals, for the club jacket and tie.

Of all the 'founding members' who helped establish NAGRFC in the early 70s, John without doubt made the seminal contri-bution. His was the driving force behind our development - on and off the pitch - the inspiration for our building pro-grammes, and for nurturing the playing careers of many mem-bers. John had a similar impact on the village of New Ash Green and touched the lives of many people outside the rugby world. He will be sorely missed.
