We played a Cramlington Rockets team twice, narrowly winning both games. The boys put in some great tackles, went on mazy runs and were led admirably by captain Riley. Lucas and Ben scored the majority of the tries, aided by the rest of the team's hard work moving the ball up the field. Everyone put a tremendous shift in, tackling all over the reduced-size pitch, with Peter making three very quick tackles in a row that led to a turnover in the first game.

Four first team Thunder players were on hand to give the teams in attendance the benefit of their experience of the game at half time.
