Cinderford Town 2 - 1 North Leigh

After an incident packed game at the Causeway, Cinderford deep in the Forest of Dean, the Millers came away with nothing to show for their efforts, going down to a 2 - 1 defeat. Whilst North Leigh started brightly with Kieran Sanders and Brian Bowles going close, it was Cinderford Town who took the lead against the run of play when Adam Powell weaved through and slotted the ball home in the 17th minute.

George Seacole replaced Jamie Cook midway through the half.

The second half reflected the first with both teams having chances. In the 51st minute Callum McNish weaved past three defenders and slotted home to equalise.

Matt Woodley replaced Michael Hopkins midway through the half. Cinderford having had six nil and four nil wins on their last two outings were now matching North Leigh with efforts to find the winner.

In the 80th minute Callum McNish went from goal scoring hero to villain when he was sent off for an off the ball incident. Everyone's attention was on the Cinderford player injured on the ground, but the referee saw something and McNish left the field.

Zac Westlake replaced Brian Bowles late on to try and stabilise the side now down to ten men. The pressure finally told in the 90th minute when Jacob Morgan scored from a corner to secure the winner for the home side to move them up to third in the league.
