Concussion - HEADCASE


Concussion must be taken extremely seriously to safeguard the long term welfare of players.
As well as coaches and referees, players and parents must be made aware of concussion and how it is managed within rugby.
Players suspected of having concussion must be from play and must not resume play in the same match or the same day at festivals and tournaments.
Players suspected of having concussion must be medically assessed.

North Tawton Rugby Club have extended the period of not been ALLOWED to play rugby for a period of 28 days from the date of injury,

They must be symptom free and they must have completed the graduated return to play protocols."

Players must receive and proof of medical clearance before returning to play.
