The NW500 has been designed to enable as many clubs as possible to get a team together. YOu neeed a Masters age goalie (34+) of either sex, plus 5 masters age men and 5 women outfielders whose ages add up to 500+ (i.e. average age 50+). You can invite as many guests as you like to make up the age numbers. And to add flexibility you can play as many extra ladies (and fewer men) as you like, knocking off 15 years for each extra lady. So for example if you had 4 men and 5 ladies whose ages added up to 450 you could add one more man age 50+, or one more lady age 35+. If you're really desperate you can play an extra man but in that case you have to ADD 15 years to the required age total.

Once entries are complete (w/c 29 April) we will allocate pairs of teams a one week "window" within which to arrange their game(s), starting w/c 12 May. It's entirely up to the teams to arrange when and where to play - if you're really keen you can play both home and away in which case you just report the aggregate score. There will be a catch-up window in early-mid July in which to complete any unfulfilled fixtures.

The competition will culminate in a big Finals Day to be held at Preston on Sunday 28 July so get that date in your diary!

(2) Go to the Pitchero web site Shop and purchase the NW500 "Product" to pay the £20 entry fee.

If you'd like to play but haven't got a team please contact us and we'll see if we can fix you up to guest with a team near you - we already have at least one team looking for some extra men and one looking for some "well over 50" people!
