MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN OF NORTON CRICKET CLUB
Your committee have decided to bring forward The Annual General Meeting this year to allow everyone the opportunity to be in discussion before Season 2013.
Our Club has been in existence since 1847, since when there have been times when changes were necessary to move the Club forward. We again find ourselves at a ‘watershed’ time.
I invite all members, parents and friends of the Club to attend the AGM and to participate in a full and frank discussion on how we can move the Club forward. Our hope is to formulate a 10 year plan.
The committee seek to find how YOU can contribute to the running of the Club. Currently too few people take responsibility and more tasks need to be undertaken by members or friends of the Club. Some examples of where help are needed are:- Fundraising Coordinator, Sponsorship Coordinator, Umpire Coordinator, Tea Coordinator, Coach and Assistant Coaches, 100 Club Promoter. Additional to these roles are the current major roles in the Club.
I must emphasise that this is YOUR Club and that you have the responsibility to ensure that future generations continue to enjoy our fantastic facilities.
If you are unable to attend the AGM, but, would like to offer suggestions for consideration please use the following email.

To end on a positive note, we have a refurbished Indoor Cricket School and additional coaching taking place.
COME ON! Lets build on this and learn how to win both on and off the pitch.
