AIMS, OBJECTIVES & OUR ETHOS

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

From the beginning, the aims of the Chairman and the Committee was to build a community organisation which offer a multiple of services to the community and not just football. The aim from the start was to be a true community champion, in particular to young people, and to try and make a positive difference to everyone who is associated with the club.

Where football is concerned, the aim is to have both girls and boys junior teams, and we would like both a senior men's and senior women's team. We also want to offer the opportunity to all our coaches to undertake at least their Level 1 coaching badge, we want to help talented players of both gender the opportunity to progress and move to a professional club or apply for scholarships in the USA.

We aim to play in a FA development junior league such as the Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL) which the club has entered an U16 team previously and was successful in securing scholarships at a professional club for 4 of our players at the time. This is a great opportunity for young players to be scouted by pro clubs - But the ultimate aim of this club is to have our own ground / stadium and for our senior team to play at the highest level possible.

METHODOLOGY(ethos)

The important thing for the Committee is to build our foundations on solid ground and to be diligent and prudent financially. That is to say the club must always be independently sustainable in every way before we commit to anything which might be detrimental to the club's stability. We will never go beyond our means!!

Furthermore, everything which we introduce and develop will be done so based on good ethics, sound principles and morality. We will not seek to gain anything from anyone by dubious means or based on dishonesty, and we will always strive to meet all our responsibilities and also adhere to all agreements the club enters into.

In all our encounters with the community, our staff and volunteers will always strive to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous and professional manner, and no matter what the situation or circumstances we will not lose sight of our overall ethos. This also extends to the conduct of all our officials, coaches and managers who will be expected to show the appropriate level of courtesy and respect to match officials, our opponents and all spectators before, during and after a game.
