Nuneaton Borough have signed Bermudian international, Kacy Milan Butterfield. The highly-rated 25-year-old midfielder has most recently played for Chesterfield In the National League, and Alfreton in the National League North.

Jmmy Ginnelly is excited about what this combative midfielder can offer, saying:

“Kacy Milan Butterfield is 6ft 4in tall and very tidy in the air. He’s technically good on the ball and very tenacious in the tackle. Kacy has already played alongside our very own Ozzie Osbourne whilst they were at Walsall FC together. Josh Ginnelly, who played in the same Walsall team, gives him a glowing reference, so that’ll do for me!

He’s a Bermudian international player.
In fact, he’s out there playing for his country as we speak!

We welcome him on to this Nuneaton Borough FC project and hopefully he can help us push even further than last year’s disappointing playoff.

He’s an amazingly laid back fella and loves to buy you supporters a beer so don’t be shy asking him when you see him in the bar!”

Impressed with what we’ve achieved so far, Kacy is eager for the season to start, saying:

“After meeting with the gaffer and Andy, it was quite easy for me to decide that Nuneaton was where I wanted to be. The vision they have for the football club and team definitely ticked a lot of boxes. I'm here to put in the hard work and help the club gain promotion. I'm ready and excited for the upcoming season!”
