Boro have completed the signing of midfielder Claudio Dias.

Dias joins fellow new boys Leroy Lita, William Edjenguélé and Ravi Shamsi at Liberty Way.

Claudio came through the Northampton Town youth system, signing a professional deal with them in March 2013.

After being released by Northampton at the end of the 2013/14 season Claudio played for a number of non-league sides including Brackley, Braintree and Dunstable.

Over the last few seasons he has played for Stratford, Tamworth and Banbury.

Shortly after signing Claudio said “After speaking to Jimmy I was impressed with his plans for next year. I’m looking forward to the new season and hope I can show the fans what I am capable of.”

Jimmy Ginnelly added “Claudio has always caught my eye when i’ve seen him play. He was one of the first names on my shopping list for the coming season. He’s a very strong, hard working player with an excellent passing range.”
