Nuneaton Borough have added to their backroom staff as Jimmy Ginnelly confirmed the appointment Richard Lavery.

"I'm absolutely delighted to have got my man in "Lavs"" said the Boro' Manager "I worked with Richard at Barwell and he’s an out and out winner. He exudes professionalism and his honest approach and will to win will rub off on the lads in changing rooms and on the coach to and from away games.

“As a former skipper at the Boro’, the supporters will remember what he was like out there on the pitch and will be over the moon to see him coming back to his beloved Boro’. He’s a local lad and lives just a quarter of a mile from the ground.”

“I played for the Boro’ for several seasons and captained them back at Manor Park in the conference.” Said Lavery upon his appointment “I also played at Liberty Way so have fond memories of the place.

“Having just won the league with Kettering Town, and, knowing that Boro’ are a massive non-league club with lots of potential, I see this as an exciting season and one that I’m proud to be part of. With jimmy taking over I am sure the club will now see the good times come back which the fans, Town and Club deserve. I can, hopefully, play a part in achieving what I know the Club is capable of.”

Welcome back to the Boro’ Richard.
