Nuneaton Borough manager, Jimmy Ginnelly, has added ex-Motherwell and Gloucester City fullback, Victor Nirennold, to the Boro's defensive line-up. The well-travelled, French 31-year-old has had spells in Miami, Malaysia, Slovakia, and Vietnam. Whilst in England, he made 43 appearances for Fleetwood Town in League 1, before signing for Guiseley to play in the National League.

During the 2021-22 season, Victor played for Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership. Last season, Victor Nirennold made appearances for Gloucester City in the National League North.

Jimmy Ginnelly is excited about the wealth of experience that Nirennold brings to the squad:

"Victor's a 31 year-old defender with bags of experience. He's a very good defender, who can play anywhere across the back line, mainly on the right side. Victor's a good tackler and loves to get forward to link up with the wide lads. One of his attributes is that he's tidy on the ball.

Victor's a great character to have around the place, so I'm sure you supporters will love this one! Welcome aboard Vic!"
