PRINCE MANCINELLI RE-SIGNS FOR THE BORO

PRINCE MANCINELLI RE-SIGNS FOR THE BORO

Matt Davenport22 Jun 2023 - 19:00

Ever-present midfielder commits for another season.

The management team are delighted that Prince Mancinelli has signed for another season with us at Nuneaton Borough FC. The 21-year-old, who had previously played for Long Eaton Utd, Radford, Basford Utd, and Tamworth, signed from Belper Town last summer. Prince made 43 appearances for the Boro last season in the centre of midfield. He’s a physical player with a tremendous work rate and a keen eye for a pass.

Boro manager, Jimmy Ginnelly, explained more about his reasons for retaining Prince Mancinelli:

“He came to us last season after Andy had told me about about him and I personally went and watched this lad play for myself. He stood out for Belper Town FC and definitely deserved the chance to jump up another level. Prince's learning the game very well at the moment and he’s getting better with maturity. He played 43 games for us last year in the middle of the park and that’s no mean feat for a 21-year-old.

He covered every blade of grass for his team mates last season and hopefully there’s loads more to come from this lad! If he can add putting the ball into that onion bag, then it’s only a matter of time before one of the bigger clubs come calling for his signature.”

After re-signing for the Boro, Prince said:
“I'm proud to be a part of this team again! I can’t wait to go again this season and give everything I have. UTB”

Welcome back to the Boro, Prince!
