Nuneaton Borough are pleased to announce the signing of Kyle Storer.

The 35-year-old midfielder began his career with neighbours Bedworth United before joining rivals Tamworth in the summer of 2004. After a season with Tamworth, Storer would join Nuneaton before moving on to full-time football by joining Kidderminster Harriers for an undisclosed fee in 2011. He became Kidderminster’s captain aged just 24. Kyle would link back up with former Nuneaton Manager Kevin Wilkin when he moved to manage Wrexham. The two had previously worked together during the midfielders spell at the Boro. He then moved on to captain Cheltenham town for two and a half season making over 100 appearances and winning the Vanarama National League title in the 2015/16 season. Storer would then join former club Solihull Moors in January of 2018 where he made over 600 appearances and was given the captains arm band by yet another club. The natural leader helped guide his team to a 3rd place finish and the the Play Off Final last season. However, his side lost 2-1 to Grimsby Town meaning the midfielder couldn’t add another promotion to the football league to his resume.

When asked about his return to the club, Kyle said: “I’m delighted I’ve been given the opportunity by the gaffer (Jimmy) to come back to the club that I hold in such high regard. I’ve always wanted to come back at some point it was always a matter of when not if , I’m confident that as a collective the players and management staff can bring success back to the boro and I can’t wait to get started .

Welcome back to the Boro Stoz!
