Cents fine run of form continues

Old Cents this afternoon completed a fine double over their forest rivals Drybrook RFC with a 27-12 win at the Stade de Bridge. This was Cents eigth win on the bounce and the try scoring bonus point win helped the home side to maintain the second spot in the league.
The match its self was a typical hard fought local derby encounter with no quarter given by either side. Old Cents tried to play their typical open style running game but came up against
some aggressive Drybrook defence. When Cents were able to get some good quality ball they
tore the Drybrook defence apart to run in 4 well worked tries. Cents try scorers were Mike Mathers, Lewis May, Dan Tyler and Liam Hiles with Harry Preece landing 1 penalty and 1 conversion plus Wayne Mullhern landing another conversion to complete the home sides scoring.
Cents next match is away to Gordano and this will be no easy match as they gave Cents a hard time earlier in the season
