Penalties: O. Taylor
The Lions came through their first home game of the season as we beat Law Society in a high-scoring and entertaining encounter at Dean Road.
Law struck first but two yellow cards gave us an opportunity to get back into the contest, and we crossed on either wing to take the lead as Ben Regan and Jamie Lashley went over.
Law got back ahead with an equalising try and then leading conversion, but Lashley added a second before Harry Thomas rounded off a beautiful move to get us the bonus point right on the half-time whistle.
The visitors needed the first score of the second half and got it, and though Oli Taylor slotted a penalty having landed a tricky conversion at the end of the first period, Law then secured their four-try bonus point and were only denied the lead by missing a conversion of their own.
Alex McMillan scythed through to take the cushion back out to two scores, and though Law got back within a point once again James Abrahart produced a sensational solo finish to keep us in control.
Lashley completed his hat-trick, and though Law scored in overtime in a somewhat sloppy finish we went to the top of yet another league with an impressive result.
