OHRFC made it three wins from three in Counties 3 Surrey as they overcame a dozen-point deficit to edge past London Exiles and make it back-to-back bonus point wins.
The Exiles burst into a 12-0 lead as they produced a neat midfield move before kicking through after a turnover to leave the visitors reeling.
The hosts suffered a setback as they conceded a yellow card and penalty try for a deliberate knock-on off Oli Taylor’s pass, but they restored a two-score gap from a penalty.
OH made sure to make the yellow card period count as Laurence Brown scored in the corner, and Matt Wheeler gave us the lead for the first time as he seized upon a loose ball at the back of a ruck to make it 21-15 at the very end of the first half.
A string of missed chances looked as if they might come back to haunt the visitors, especially after Exiles restored their lead with a try and well-taken conversion heading into the last 15 minutes.
Taylor got us back in front with a nicely struck penalty, and after piling on late pressure we got a four try bonus point as Ben Regan dotted down following an excellent drive by the forwards at the scrum.
