Old Leams walking rugby win at Twickenham
A fantastic day for Walking rugby and Old Leamingtonians Rugby Club yesterday, the first time any festival or rugby matches have been played before an international fixture saw Old Leamingtonians walking team unbeaten and winning the festival. To cap an excellent day the team along with the other nine teams that were competing acted as flag bearers on the pitch during the National Anthems. Walking rugby is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone., open to all ages and abilities with the aim to give people a different fitness activity which is non-contact but still energetic.
Already a thriving section we hope by more people will discover this version of the game and will attract more players who are not able to play contact or o2 touch back to rugby & discover our family club.
Join us Wednesday 6.45pm - 8pm (drink in the bar after)
