The club and the coaching team would like to thank Will McLaughlin for his captaincy this year. Will has worked hard throughout the season with the senior players and coaches. He’s had some great performances for us and led from the front through a tough season, and we hope Will will be with us next year.

For next season Greg Withers will be club captain.
Greg said “ I'm really proud to be named captain for next season.

This season didn’t quite go as we’d hoped, but we’ve made some solid progress as a squad and as a club, which we can build on over the summer. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. The club’s heading in the right direction, and the lads and I are ready to work hard and make next season a good one.”

Director of Rugby, Richard Brown said “Its been a tough season but as we start to prepare for next year we are really excited about what we can achieve. Greg has come through the club and epitomised what our club ethos is about. This season I’ve seen Greg grow into a great leader both on and off the field and I'm sure he will do a fantastic job. It’s great that someone with his qualities, standards and work ethic wants to be part of what we are building at Rish.”
