Gordon Bradley died on 31st December after a long illness, which had (sometimes) restricted his ability to attend matches for the past couple of seasons. For those that new Gordon, with his dry sense of humour and anecdotes coupled with his ideas, drive and considerable specialist knowledge, he was good company, whilst always, vigourously getting his point across.
This was born out of his desire to help publicise Otley Rugby Club to a wider audience and one of Gordon’s legacies is that the posters that advertise home matches around the area were originally designed and distributed by Gordon, who, like his posters, was colourful, distinctive and promoted Otley Rugby Club proudly to as many as possible.
