We'd like to wish the players of local side Compton and Chandlers Ford CC all the best as they bid to reach the first round of the ECB national championship.

The Hampshire League based side are drawn to play Southern Cricket League side Burridge in the second of the county competitions semi finals this weekend.

Whoever wins the Hampshire indoor sixes championships at the Ageas Bowl on Saturday evening won't have too much time to celebrate as the county champions will be playing in the first round of the ECB national competition at Leatherhead the following (Sunday) afternoon !
In the HCB semi-finals, Havant play Hook & Newnham Basics (7pm), with Burridge tackling Compton & Chandler's Ford an hour later.
The county final is at 9pm.
​The Hampshire winners then face the daunting task of facing Surrey indoor champions Wimbledon at Downsend School, Leatherhead, on Sunday teatime at 4 o'clock.
