Dinbych remain rooted at the foot of the league table after this latest defeat by COBRA. Against bulkier opposition Dinbych competed well in the set pieces and defended well near to them.

However the visitors used their physicality to good effect in open play to break tackles in the run up to most of their tries in a bonus point victory.

COBRA opened the scoring after 5 minutes when right wing Iestyn Price went over for a try after a cross kick to the corner. Centre Llew Williams converted. Dinbych reacted quickly and drew level when full back Tommy Jones went over in the corner after an incisive run from left wing Aidyn Jones. Tommy Jones added the conversion.

Midway through the half COBRA went into the lead again when Iestyn Price went over for his second but unconverted try. Just before the interval COBRA increased their lead when scrum half Aled Davies sniped over for a try converted by Llew Williams.

Trailing by 19 points to 7 Dinbych hit back early in the second half with a try by Aidyn Jones after a line out near the Cobra 22. Tommy Jones converted from the touchline.

COBRA then dominated territory and possession to add further tries by Aled Davies, centre Fraser Roberts and outside half Tylor Williams with Llew Williams adding two conversions.

Dinbych however stuck to their task and deservedly got their reward with the last score when Gruff Roberts went over for his second try after a long break by Aidyn Jones from just inside the Dinbych half.
