We started pre season yesterday with the opening game of the Sharsted cup. Playing Park Regis fc who are a division 1 team from the Rochester and district team, we started slow. Eventually we got into the game but found ourselves 3-1 down at HT. Second half we came out with a bit more zip, debutants including 16 year old Oliver Jones who is from our U18s , got into the game more and we got back into the game at 3-3. Then the game went mental and it looked like it was end to end with every attack resulting in a goal. We got the game to 5-4 with about 7 mins left (probably less) before they broke and got a last minute goal.

We will take that. Well done to all of our debutants including Oliver Jones, and Lynden McLean who are 16 and 17 respectively. Goals yesterday were from Alex Chaplin x3, Dan Bransbury and Thomas Baker. Next Saturday we are in Sharsted cup action again vs Anchorians. Ko 4pm. Please come and show your support
