Yesterday we played our second game in the Sharsted cup. A few changes to the squad due to injuries and work but that didn’t change the effort that was given. We started bright by firing the first 3 goals within the first 10-15 mins but a couple of times we lapsed in concentration and allowed Anchorians back into the game. So we went in at HT 3-2 up. After a quick HT chat, the boys headed out and absolutely annihilated the opposition. For about 10-20 mins of the second half, it seemed that every attack we had resulted in a goal. Alex Chaplin bagged 6 goals alone, Steven Pettican got 3, Dwayne Spence and George Saxby with the other goals.

Next week is a big game as we face Grand Sports in the final game of the group stages. Alex Chaplin is now top scorer with 9 goals in 2 games
