With their existing kit is on its last legs and the children growing out of it fast, Paddock Wood football club under 12s were desperately seeking a football kit sponsor. After unsuccessfully approaching local businesses, the Paddock Wood Lions saw an appeal in the Courier and have very kindly offered to sponsor a new kit for the team.

Pictured is Wendy Johnson, Lions Chairperson, presenting the cheque to Simon Clays, under 12s team manager, and some of the players at their Mascalls training session on Wednesday 10th October. Simon said “We really appreciate this generous donation from the Lions and the kit will be used by subsequent age groups once the under 12s have grown out of it. Thank you”. Wendy commented “It was a real pleasure to meet the team. What a lovely bunch of youngsters!”
