Thoroughly enjoyable trip for our 1st XV who travelled to Caithness for the 1st round of the National Shield yesterday. It was a great effort from all involved to get a squad up and compete for a majority of the game. It was always going to be a tough ask but the team played very well and remained right in the game up until the final 20.

Massive thanks to Caithness Rugby FC for the game and hospitality. All the best for the next round.

Also a massive shout out to our very own Rob Prudom for driving our minibus to and from Thurso. Well over 500 miles of driving, and to add, 20 mins on the pitch! Massive thanks to Rob, the lads appreciate it very much.

We move onto this coming week with another Forthill double header and our Ladies Day!
