Parkgate vs Worsbrough Bridge

After a tremendously busy first two weeks back at the club for Andy Dawson (this time as manager not as a player) things are starting to take shape, after Parkgate's first win under the new management staff, on Saturday at Shirebrook. As when any manager takes over at a new club there is always a turnaround of the playing staff and in this instance this has proven to be the case. Seven of the lads who played under Billy have moved on and we have signed to replace them who Andy feels have strengthened the playing squad immensely.

Andy Dawson wrote for Wednesday's programme - "Wednesday night's visitors are testament to how a management change and the right adjustments can alter a clubs fortunes. Finishing 19th last year compared to sitting comfortably in the top six this year. Lee has brought in tried and tested players who have done the business so far for him. Having played (briefly) for Worsbrough I do know that it’s a real down to earth club and what I would class a proper football club.
I hope that our fans who pay good money to come and watch us week in week out can see the hard work we are putting in off the pitch in both trying to gain the right personnel for the squad and the hard work the lads are putting in on the training pitch to achieve our goals. When I took the job i mentioned in my first interview I wanted to create a feel good factor at the club and I stand by that statement and I can see the lads are already buying in to what we are trying to achieve which is very pleasing."

Admission Prices - £5 Adults, & £3 Concessions
