Pascoe Vale Soccer Club is delighted to announce new signing Melbourne City and NPL 1 Rising Star 2015 Luka Prelevic ahead of PS4 NPL season 2016.

PVSC Boss Vitale Ferrante has made signing a attacking midfield a priority ahead of season 2015.

Luka Prelevic was a twenty year old attacking midfielder for Melbourne City FC of the Foxtel National Youth League and NPL Victoria Mens 1 competition and has represented his native New Zealand at the U20 level.

In 2012, after an impressive season for the Oakleigh Cannons in the Victorian Premier League U21 competition, Prelevic was selected for the Nike The Chance Pacific Finals at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, placing him amongst thirty-eight of the best young footballers in Australia and New Zealand.

After returning to the Cannons and continuing to impress, he was offered a senior contract for the 2013 season, but instead, opted to move to rival club Port Melbourne Sharks, signing a one year first team contract, his first. After another impressive season of steady improvement, he caught the eye of Melbourne Victory scouts, securing a train-on contract with the A-League club for the 2013/14 season. During this time, Prelevic was invited back for the 2013 edition of the Nike competition, flying to Sydney for the Australian final. Going one better this time around, along with Reece Papas, Prelevic won the competition, earning a trial at the famed Nike Academy in England.

After returning from the UK, Prelevic resumed his career with Port Melbourne before being offered a trial at Melbourne City. After trialing in multiple pre-season matches for the first team, Prelevic again impressed and was offered a professional youth team contract for the 2014/15 season. He was a key member of the City youth team who went onto win the 2014/15 Foxtel National Youth League Premiership.

Prelevic was then selected for the twenty-five-man New Zealand U20 national team squad to participate at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup, earning his first caps against Australia and Qatar.

Welcome to Pascoe Vale SC Luka.
