The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on the 25th of May 2018 and replaced the Data Protection Act 1998. This document lays out the processes and people involved in the collection and control of personal data for the purposes of Peckham Town Football Club. It assures compliance with GDPR and documents our assessments with respect to the handling of personal data. As an organisation with a global reach, Peckham Town Football Club must be conscious of threats to personal privacy in the digital age. The GDPR legislation harmonises current data protection laws and gives individuals greater rights over the use of their information by organisations.
