Four Trophies in One Season!
History 1 of 4

1. Four Trophies in One Season!

In one of the most successful seasons in the club's history, Pelsall Villa lifted 4 trophies in the 1968/69 season and included a number of ex-professionals in their ranks.
The Villians won the Staffordshire Junior Cup, the Wednesbury Senior Cup, the John Gregory Cup and also came runners up in the Staffs County League.
As can be seen from the picture, the club still played in white in those days but the badge matches the current club emblem.
The team and officials from the victorious season were, from back row, left:
G. Davis (Chairman), W. Clarke (Committee), B. Taylor, R. Bayley, A. Russell, N. Evenson, R. Cook, R. Thacker, A. Minton, K. Coyne (Committee), S. Wade (Committee).
Front row, left: J. Brearley, M. Atkinson, C. Betts, M. Bradford (Capt.), S. Ormonde, R. Kent, S. Langford.
