In a close first half, Bolehall took the lead with their first attack mid-way through the half but Pelsall came storming back to equalise through Osiris Robertson. With the scores level at half-time, the hosts came out strong in the second period, with Mitch Teece cutting through the visitors defence at will. Two superb saves from Scott Bannister kept Villa in the match on the rare occasions Bolehall troubled the Pelsall defence before Tom Green came off the bench to give the home side a deserved lead. Green got his second late in the half before Tan Katsukunya capped off a great performance with a goal in added time.

Villa manager Stephen Cooke praised his team's performance on what could prove to be a vital 3 points in their battle to remain in the league.

Pelsall's next match is away at Atherstone Town on Saturday 15th April before entertaining Hinckley AFC in their last home match of the season on Easter Monday.
