On Saturday Penallta 1st XV make the short journey to Bedlinog to take on the Old Enemies in a Division 1 East League encounter.
Form will count for nothing in a fixture that as massive History, with both Clubs hoping to gain victory and ensure for the near future in any case, that they have the local bragging rights.
A good all round Team performance last week saw the Pitmen comfortably defeat Ynysybwl at Trinity Fields, but a greater effort will be required to overcome this weeks opponents.
The FOXES will be up for it, physical, uncompromising, and playing on thier own patch, in front of thier home crowd, they will give it thier all in search of victory. If you dont turn up 110% prepared you will be punished.
For the Pitmen it must be same again, a massive TEAM effort just like last week, which I am sure will see us through the afternoon. It is an opportunity for the young Penallta side to lay down thier mark and to announce to the rest of the Division that they have arrived. When thinking about opportunity remember this,
"WHEN YOU WALK UP TO OPPORTUNITIES DOOR, DONT KNOCK IT, KICK THE B*TCH IN, SMILE AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF"
"WE ARE THE PITMEN, WE ARE THE BEST".
