Lee brings a wealth of playing experience with him having played in the League of Wales for Flint and Airbus and represented Wales U16 schoolboys in his youth.

Lee said, 'I'm delighted to have signed for Penyffordd, I was working with the team towards the back end of the season and I want to continue the good work we've started. I'm hoping to have a good pre-season with the lads.'

Lee not only brings playing experience but coaching and managing qualities too. He is a UEFA 'B' licensed coach, level 1 goalkeeper coach and managed Flint U19's and Flint Reserves to various successes including winning the double with Flint reserves.

Manager Mark Woodward added, ' it's great to get a player of Lee's experience and quality. I'm really looking forward to some of the sessions that Lee has planned for preseason. I know he will pass on his knowledge and experience to the younger players we have coming through and will also contribute to the playing side of things by getting a goal or two'.

Finally, Lee had this to say on the forthcoming season,' I'm excited about it. I'm looking to develop some of the younger players further and combined with our experience and potential new signings I feel we can do well. Although we limped to the finish of last season, that's gone and I truly believe that we can finish in the top 6 and maybe have a good cup run in the process. Ultimately our aim is to get the club as high as we can and I want to be part of it'.
