Scotland Coach Gregor Townsend to lead Voice of Rugby Dinner line-up
Gregor Townsend, MBE will lead the line-up at the Bill McLaren Foundation Voice of Rugby Dinner, returning to Crieff Hydro on Friday 20th April. Sponsored by Perth-based Tan International. A fantastic evening of rugby entertainment lies in store for dinner guests as Gregor, the current Scotland National Coach, will take part in a Q&A inspired by his extensive rugby career to date; Scotland Head Coach, Scotland Assistant Head Coach, Head Coach of Glasgow Warriors & and a successful playing career including 82 caps for Scotland and 2 for the British and Irish Lions. Townsend made his Scotland debut in 1993 against England. He has played in World Cups, played in Australia, England, France and South Africa & Five Nations campaigns. He scored a try against every country in the 1999 Five Nations Championship, assisting Scotland to their Championship victory of that year.
All Black Legend Zinzan Brooke will lead the Q&A and speak at the dinner. With exceptional running and kicking skills, Brooke is considered to be one of the greatest number 8s to ever play for the All Blacks. Brooke played 58 tests for New Zealand scoring 17 tries and 42 non-international matches for the All Blacks. He kicked a legendry 48m-drop goal in the 1995 Rugby World Cup Semi Final against England.

MC for the evening will be former Scotland Captain with 31 Scotland caps and Bill's grandson, Rory Lawson. Organisers advise anyone interested to secure their place(s) asap. The last Voice of Rugby Dinner at Crieff Hydro sold out quickly. Guests will receive a drink on arrival at 7pm for 7.30pm, a 3-course meal. Dress code will be black tie.
