The Combination Sevens Competition takes place at the end of the season, usually the first weekend in May. Teams compete in groups before entering either the Main Competition or Plate Competition depending on their group standings.
Winners of the Main Competition receive the Combination Sevens Trophy, the runners up the HMS Plymouth Trophy. Winners of the Plate Competition receive the Alex Dow Plate with the runners-up taking the Rovers Rose Bowl.
