Wes was an unforgettable character and such a dear friend of so many people, particularly within the rugby communities of Ponteland Rugby Club and Northumberland Rugby Union.

He will be missed by so many people who were fortunate enough to have known him and privileged enough to call him a friend.

Out thoughts and prayers are with his wife Carol and his three sons, Daniel, Oliver and Jake.
