Max Mitchell has strengthened his squad ahead of the 2024/25 season with the signing of Jamie Dicks.
The defensive midfielder had featured for Romford, Thurrock, Bowers & Pitsea, Enfield, Grays Athletic and Aveley.
Jamie made 144 appearances and scored five goals for Romford in three separate spells for the club, making a brief move to Thurrock during the 2012/13 season, before returning to The Boro.
The 2017/18 season saw him move to Bowers & Pitsea, spending five years at the Len Salmon where he accumulated 151 appearances and netted 19 times for Bowers.
Whilst with Bowers, he helped them to win the Isthmian League North in 2018/19 and reach the First Round of the FA Cup.
He then returned to Aveley, having featured for the club back in 2015/16, and was instrumental in helping the club achieve promotion to the National League South via the play-offs.
Before signing for the Bar, Dicko made five appearances for Enfield before having a brief spell with Grays Athletic.
On signing for the club, Jamie said: "Hearing Max's views on the club's direction and the way he wants to play this season seemed just right for myself.
"I'm certainly glad to be playing back at Step 3. There are some big teams dropping down into the league, so it should be exciting."
"My time at Aveley saw a lot of self belief and togetherness of the team, leading to promotion, so I hope I can find that at Potters Bar," he said about the last time he played Step 3 football.
"My style of play is mainly based on fitness. The fitter I am, the best version of me you'll get to see."
Targets for the season? "My personal target would be to have a good, healthy, injury-free season, but I'd like to hopefully add some silverware too."
