The club are devastated to learn of the passing of former player and joint manager, Dennis Bond, at the age of 77.

Bond, who played 301 times for Watford, scoring 42 goals, also played 27 games for Tottenham Hotspur, scoring once.

In the latter stages of his career, Bond played for the club, and also played for our vets side, hanging up his boots aged 55.

Alongside Les Eason, Bond also jointly managed the club's first team, where he was well known for his approachable and personable nature.
