Thank you for the memories
It's been an emotional last few weeks has my journey with PNE as come to an end. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but for my own development I had to move on. The assistant managers role at Bury Ladies was just too good of an opportunity to turn down and I look forward to this new and exciting challenge.
I have had seven wonderful years at the club were I've grown as a coach and moved from coach to manager, and I will be forever grateful of the club for giving me this opportunity. It will forever hold a special place in my heart as I've made some truly special friendships along the way.
I can look back with real pride and can honestly say I put everything I had into the club and worked extremely hard. I feel the club is in a better position from when I first took over, with strong links into local junior clubs. This giving young 16 year olds a clear pathway into PNE and making sure there will be enough players available. The team this year has had players from Cadley girls regularly playing in the first team. I have secured many sponsors for the club, giving financial backing, to which I would like to say a big thank you to all those companies for giving us great support. The club as now got physios, a photographer and an analyst making it a great environment to play in for the girls. So off the pitch the club is really strong. The one regret I have is not getting the results on the pitch, and this is an area that I didn't develop, for what ever reason, but I have learnt a lot from this. Thank you to all the supporters over the years it has been very much appreciated.
Finally a big thank you to my coaching staff and to the players I wish the club every success in the future.
