While half the children were competing in the H Cup at Freelands the rest of the U7 team travelled to Horsham to do our weekly training. Horsham were also entertaining Haywards Heath as well so there was a large turn out of children for the training session.

The coaches decided that since the weather was warm and sunny we should have Bulldog followed by a few games of rugby. So we had Haywards Heath against a blended team from Horsham and Pulborough playing a number of small games.

The children were very enthusiastic and played really well. Some excellent tries and support play matched to some stout defending and tagging resulted in lots of tries and some brilliant team play. One try by Pulborough U7 where we had 10 different phases of passing and attacking springs to mind here. I have to say this was the best I have seen the U7s play in a long time so well done everybody and I look forward to training next week.
