MANAGER RAB HALDANE HOPES TO TAKE LEAGUE FORM INTO ANDERSON CUP TIE

Rab gives his thoughts on the upcoming Anderson cup Quarter final against St Bernards

Manager Rab Haldane has seen a big progression in terms of league form this season and is now aiming to add some cup success to what has been an encouraging second season for Queensferry Athletic.

"This Saturday see us face another difficult cup tie against an in form St Bernard's side who are doing extremely well in the Edinburgh East league. The added incentive of a semi final for the winning team certainly adds another edge to the game.

In my opinion its a good fixture for us, it gives the team a welcome break from the pressure of the league + an opportunity to let me use the squad to the full. Reaching a semi final which would be a superb achievement for the club in only our second season.

The boys have done really well to put us in the promotion hunt and we have found consistency in our league form after a tricky first two months of the season. Saturday gives us a chance to push on into a semi and we know it will be a tough match however me and Coco know we have the quality and spirit in this squad to get a positive result."
