After a strong start with only 10 men, Radway kept Syresham to under three an over until the first drinks break. However Syresham pushed on and aided by a number of important missed chances in the field, reached a total of 237 for 9.
A 'majestic' tea was enjoyed by one and all.
The Radway innings started slowly but surely with runs coming either side of the wicket off bat, bottom and helmet. A few wickets and a flurry of runs followed after drinks, until an unwelcome return of the infamous 'collapse'. No more needs to be said, but at several points in the game Radway were certainly in control; much can be said for being more consistent in more periods of the game.
Next week brings a trip to Hinton and another opportunity to add funds to the end of season drink kitty.
