About the team
This is where it all starts, the Jonny Sextons, Jordan Larmours and James Ryans of the future. Ratoath RFC's entry level team is Under 7 - and most of our starters will be born in 2014 and 2015. The training is fun based, non-contact/non-competitive rugby. Throughout the year we will be playing some blitzes against other clubs with the main emphasis of taking part and having fun. Training is every Saturday at 12:00pm at Curragha Road.
If you're not sure if your child is ready - our advice is to come down to training and take a look around. Depending on your child's level of development, they may be able to participate, or it may be wise to wait a year. Please talk to the coach, and maybe try it out for a week or 2, and see how they get on.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Gum Shield
- Suitable clothing i.e. tracksuits when it gets cold in the winter.
- Contact details of Parent/Guardian - it is imperative that we have the correct contact details to facilitate communication of matches, cancellations etc.
- It is requested at this age group that a parent/guardian is present on the sidelines during training and matches..
