We are proud to announce the club has been awarded the FA Charter Standard accreditation after applying earlier this year.
The accreditation is aimed at raising standards in the grassroots game, supporting the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding commitment, quality and achievement.
The programme was a key part of the new committee's 2020 strategy after forming last August. Club Chairman Mark Yates said:
"Ravenshead FC is built on superb foundations and has grown immeasurably since forming in 2008. Following the movement to become a standalone adult club in the summer of 2019, including the formation of a passionate new committee, we have a set out on an ambitious five-year plan to grow the club and ensure it lives on for future generations.
Yates added: "Achieving the FA Charter Standard is an important first step in that journey, making us a reputable grassroots club in the eyes of the Football Association."
The club would like to thank Treasurer, Amanda Rowbotham, for her role in making the accreditation a reality, and to Marc Birkett at Nottinghamshire FA for his support.
