Where to start? The semi final was played at a neutral ground Highgate FC . Conditions weren't ideal, we eventually found which pitch we were playing on and it wasn't great.

Eagles knew only their best would be good enough and started the game brightly with a few early chances to take the lead including a shot off the post from Toby.

Mid way through the first half against the run of play Harborne took the lead and despite a few great saves from our keeper Eagles were 2-0 down at the break.

Instructions were simple if you don't win the first ball battle for the second and keep playing football. True to Eagles style that's what they did and Josh Smart's corner was scrambled in by Toby tap - game on 2-1. Moments later Charlie battered his way though the Harborne defence to slot the ball passed the keeper 2-2 .

Harborne had a free kick which they took quickly chipped to the back post Eagles were caught napping by a headed goal 3-2 Harborne.

With 5 minutes left Eagle's fighting spirit kept them going and Toby beat the offside trap ran most of the oppositions half to slam the ball home 3-3. Harborne's heads dropped and with pressure from Eagles Josh S quick feet earned him time to drive through on goal with the ball and hammered it in 4-3.

Eagles fans erupted - Eagles led for the first time in the match Eagles and Toby completed his hat trick in the dying moments to put the game beyond Harborne.

Today the whole team contributed with saves from Hugh, last ditch tackles from Harry , Joe , Pat and Kyle, Josh L bossed the midfield , Bill with some good runs and tackles out on the wing and goals from Josh S , Charlie and Toby

They say its a game of two halves and that's what we got today. Some great character and spirit from the boys carried them through WELL DONE REDDITCH EAGLES !!!!!!! through to the final of the league Trophy against Meadow Park on 18th May at Highgate FC
